KIND’s Patterns

Behind every artwork lies a process of research, imagination, creation and development.

Kind’s patterns originally draw their inspiration from the symbols of traditional Indonesian textiles — Ikat, Batik, Songket — each carrying a precise meaning, deeply rooted in the local culture. Thanks to the creative sensibility of a dear friend and great Italian illustrator, Francesca Luciani, these elements take on a new form and become the starting point in the creation of Kind’s patterns: an encounter between two seemingly distant worlds, a dialogue between the deep, artisanal soul of Indonesia and contemporary European aesthetic taste.
